Hi Everyone! First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about me! I am a part-time college student studying Business Administration, and a full-time employee at a family construction company. I am the 4th generation to work for my family's business and I plan to continue working there and upholding the family name.
Writing is for sure another one of my favorite pastimes! I recently took a Creative Writing class and it really helped me hone some of my skills! My New Year's Resolution for 2013 (besides dieting and working out like everyone else) is to start my zombie novel! I'm sure it'll take awhile to finish with my busy schedule, but I plan on finishing it at some point!
Another favorite pastime of mine is gaming! I have an Xbox 360, PS2, DS, Tablet, iPhone, original PlayStation, 2 Original Nintendos, Wii, Old Atari thing, etc. I always hated COD but I have come to love it and find myself often playing first person shooter games, though my absolute favorite game of all time would have to be Portal. It is for sure one of the best games of all time! My gamertag for Xbox is KatieBird92, though I must warn you, I don't typically play online besides GTA! Okay, yes, I'm a super nerd but so what?
My boyfriend of 3 years is wonderful. He makes sure to point out my nerdiness quite often, but redeems himself by calling me his nerd. My family and friends are also supportive of my endeavors, though they often laugh when I come home from the library with about 10 books (which is why I just bough a new thirty-one bag embroidered with "Keep Reading" for when I go to the library!).
I started book blogging about 2 years ago, but I had school and everything else and I really just let it go, because I really didn't have the time. But now that I've started up again, I remember how much I love to be able to talk about books without people telling me to shut up!
EDIT: I took another small hiatus (only about 3 months this time) but now I'm back! So look for new reviews and other fun stuff starting soon!
Back when I was a Sophomore in High School, I had a blog on Xanga and all I did was talk about Twilight. Seriously. That's all I did. I was the most annoying person ever! Yes, I went through the Twilight phase, very extremely, but I've moved on from Twilight now, I promise.
